Sentrum Scene

Sentrum Scene is one of Norway’s most exciting scenes in venerable premises on Arbeidersamfunnet plass. The house was built in 1934-41, and is considered one of Oslo’s finest functionalist buildings.
Rockefeller has run Sentrum Scene since 2006, but the scene has been a central part of Oslo’s popular history with music and cinema as early as 1940. The cinema was eventually also used for e.g. concerts and public meetings. The most famous premiere was probably on the film “Rock around the clock” in 1956.

Center Stageis today known as one of Norway’s best stages. With its fantastic acoustics and distinctive funk style, the stage has hosted many of the world’s biggest artists. Of many great moments, concerts with artists such as Robert Plant, Lady Gaga, PJ Harvey, Iggy & The Stooges, Coldplay, The Killers, Morrissey and more. Sentrum Scene has a maximum capacity of 1,750 people.
